Placenta Encapsulation

Safety & Reliability First!

Picture
Some benefits to having placenta encapsulation include:

·         Having an increase in energy
·         Found a better hormone balance
·         Supporting lactation by increasing and enriching your milk supply
·         A decrease in postpartum bleeding
·         A good source of iron supplement
·         Getting better sleep, helping with insomnia and sleep disorders
·         Combating of postpartum depression
·         Assists in times of life transitions
·         Faster healing time of the tissue

The placenta is a natural prescription uniquely made just for the mother and child to benefit from. It is filled with nutrient rich vitamins and hormones at the levels the mother’s body needs. It helps to restore depleted stores that the mother was providing to her baby while pregnant. Encapsulations are used after birth to help balance your body’s depletion from birth. They are also great any time pick-me-ups. The tincture is ready 6 weeks after preparation and is great for setting your hormones back into balance when you’re just feeling a little “off”, going through a time of transition, or stress. The tincture can be used to help your child as times of transition, stress, or s/he become out of balance. A recipe will be provided for you to create your child's tincture remedy.

Ready to Get Started?

The Process

Within a few days following your birth I will begin the encapsulation process. The entire process is finished in about 24 hours.

I operate with the utmost care when handling the placenta. I use OSHA and EPA sterilization techniques.

Traditional Chinese Method -TCM
I will bathe your placenta in a nice cool bath releasing any impurities and checking it for overall health. At this time if you would like a tincture prepared I will create that for you. I then give it a wonderful simmering herb bath. This takes about an hour. There is a delicious broth that the simmering herbs create. The mother may wish to drink it with some honey or poured over a bit of rice. I then will sliver it for the dehydrating process. It will dehydrate overnight at which point you may turn off the machine.

Fresh Preparation Method

This process is similar to the above, except I will skip the simmering bath and begin slivering to prepare for dehydration. The benefit of the fresh method is greater hormonal release. Women claim this one is a greater boost of energy and feel more vibrant. It brings on faster postpartum healing.

Upon my return I will then begin the encapsulation process. I use vegetable gel capsules. Upon special request I can create special gelatin flavored capsules in grape, mint, orange, bubble gum, strawberry, coffee, berry, and lime. Additional fee would apply.  One placenta can make about 100-175 capsules. The most I have made was 283 capsules. Capsules can last indefinitely in your freezer.

I will be in your home the first day about 1-1/2 to 2hrs. The second day will be about 1-1/2 to 2hrs.
